We welcome the opportunity to share our love of music with you,
either at a concert or as a new member.
The Edinburgh Bach Choir performs three concerts a year with up to 100 singers. One concert a year is usually dedicated to JS Bach. In addition we have sung a wide repertoire in recent years, ranging from 16th to 20th century composers: Monteverdi to Constant Lambert, Byrd to Durufle, Handel to Stravinsky.
The core of our activity as a choir is our Tuesday night meetings. Under the guidance of our Music Director Neil Mantle and with top quality support from Gill Gray, our piano accompanist, we learn and practise the pieces for our next concert.
You can read about our up coming concerts on the concerts page. You can also view the list of concerts we have performed over the years.
If you are interested in joining or supporting the activities of the Edinburgh Bach Choir you can find out more information by visiting the membership section of the website.
