Concerts
Past & Forthcoming
We normally perform three concerts a year, before Christmas, before Easter and in the late Spring. We are accompanied by either Scottish Sinfonia (Neil Mantle's orchestra) or a professional chamber orchestra. Our soloists are normally professionals.
Our concerts usually take place in Greyfriars Kirk, in central Edinburgh, but sometimes in St Cuthbert’s Church, Lothian Road.
Making Music made the following comments about a recent concert:
"This seemed to me one of their best performances. They filled the church with a glorious sound, always expressive, often dramatic and emotive. The orchestra was, as always, a wonderful source of assured beautiful music, providing sympathetic accompaniment to the choir and soloists."
