Centenary Year Concerts 2010-11
There will be three main concerts in the Edinburgh Bach Choir's centenary year; these will be 22nd May (see photos here) and 4th December 2010, and then 26th March 2011. The works will include: The Mass in B Minor, the St. Matthew Passion, Jesu Meine Freude, and Cantatas nos. 1, 65, 79.
In addition, we are embarking upon a new venture at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, with an exciting "A Cappella" concert, to be held on the 28th August 2010, including works by Bruckner, Part, Tavener and Stanford. The Aquillos Ensemble will also perform the Mozart Quintet for piano and wind.
